Cast- in / milled elements
The solution in element longevity
Swift specialises in the design and manufacture of cast-in elements. Typical materials used for cast-in elements are aluminium, bronze, brass, steel or copper. Any shape (rectangular, square, round, half round) can be manufactured to customer specifications. The heaters, even though cast-in seldom blow since there are no “cold spots” which results in excellent heat transfer taking place between the heater and the material.
Milled elements however are usually made of aluminium where the element fits snugly into the milled section thereby ensuring that excellent heat transfer takes place. The advantage of these elements is that the heater can be replaced very easily if blown, thereby reducing downtime and price factors.
Various wattages and voltages are offered to suit the client’s needs. The greatest advantage is that these elements far outlast conventional mica and ceramic heaters, as they are superfluous to plastic spillage which eliminates both electrical and mechanical damage or failure.
Studies have proven that these elements outlast the conventional types by as much as 10 times if correct maintenance is carried out. Give Swift a call to lessen your daily burdens of continually changing elements on 011-4944444 or email sales@swiftheat.com
